Arab wedding rituals much enjoyed by guests

Arab weddings are although traditional but they are also known for the extravagant affair which is a one off thing. If one talks about the wedding it is known to be full of excitement and fervor which is known to be happening around the wedding ceremonies. Whether, it is about the person who loves to get the ceremony done in the ritual and traditional manner but the dressing sense which keeps the person feel a bit different on the wedding day.
If we want to talk only about the traditional ways then it carries the specific process of the actual wedding which has been going on from one generation to another:
Tulba: The tulba which is essentially a formal asking of the hand of bride. The family then gives the consent to get into the marriage process. If one talks about the closeness of the affair it is just a private one with less people involved in it.

Radwa: The closest of the male relatives gather at bride’s house to find if everything is O.K with the wedding arrangements and it takes them to know about any other wish of the bride’s family.
Henna: After all the events which get decided by both of the family members the final date gets announced for marriage. A day before the wedding henna or the traditional leaves which gives a beautiful tattoo mark is applied on both the bride and groom.
Now, if the dressing is concerned then the traditional clothes called Thobe is given to the bride and thus it also helps the people to get the bride adorn with bags of candy, coin skirts and fans are passed out.
Sahra: After all these participation the Sahra happens this is just a pre-wedding party similar to engagement or wedding party.
Wedding ceremony: The wedding ceremony occurs with much of the people giving the moment of joy a new way to celebrate as there is elaborate arrangement from food, drinks and also the enjoyment of the guest with courtesans.
Once the wedding gets over the post-wedding ceremony takes place in which the groom’s family gives a lavish reception and finally the wedding gets completed with both ends coming together to start a new family and the ties which is all about grace and happiness.

  1. I, even though I have not married yet ... I already think that, so that to spend 1000 € or more in a suit that even many take it off after the banquet😱, I prefer to spend less on my suit and more on the celebration, so that my guests feel the same, or better than me that day
